Madison, Four Seasons Hotel, Bangkok

I finally had the chance to try out Madison a few weeks back. The restaurant is very popular, especially during lunch time as they have reasonable set lunches. I was there on a Saturday lunch, so I decided to try out their set lunch too. They change their menu quite frequently so customers always have new varieties to try.

The set lunch is your choice of either a three-course or two-course meal, which included either a buffet salad bar or soup, a main course, and dessert (If you picked the three course meal). My dad and I both picked the buffet salad bar, which from his experience had a lot of quality Entree.

Lychee Mint
This was a bit too sweet for my liking

My dad's Lime Crush

The buffet salad bar included Parma ham with Melon, Soft shell crabs, Scallop salad, cocktail prawns, Caesar Salad etc.

Complimentary garlic and rye bread.
This was probably one of the best bread I've ever had! They were baked fresh! The aroma was just irresistible. They were crunchy on the outside, and soft and moist on the inside!

Roasted Duck Breast with Pumpkin Puree on a bed of Sauteed Spinach
This was really good, though the spinach was a tad salty. The duck was really tender, and it went really well with the pumpkin puree. I found the pumpkin puree a bit rich towards the end though.

My dad's Snapper dish.
He enjoyed it, but I still prefer my duck.

Plum tart with Vanilla Ice cream
I really like their presentation. The plum tart was good too, with the pastry still crisp.

I thought the set lunches at Madison is really reasonable for quality of food that we received. I really enjoyed my experience there and look forward to going back soon. If anyone is interested in trying it out, don't make the same mistake I did (in my last post) and make a reservation!

My gosh, if I'm ever in Bangkok, definitely going to the hotel for their food. I love your pictures; they are making me drool. XD;;

The food presentation reminds me of Taxi @ Melbourne, especially the dessert.
